How dishonest was the Apostle Paul?
by opusdei1972 inmay be some of you will be shocked by this question.
however, when i was studying the bible with critical eyes i detected that paul ( or saul of tarsus) misquoted the hebrew bible in order to get false support for his arguments.
of course, this tricky kind of use of the "scriptures" was not only used by him, but others, like the author of the gospel of matthew got unsupported doctrines misquoting verses.

All the books in the NT written by Paul are based one ONE vision he had where Jesus talked to him.
How many people today would follow ONE person who claimed he had ONE vision where Jesus talked to him?
I wonder if there was even a Paul, or were all the stories about him just Fairy tales like the tales of Hercules?

Since 2000, with the restructuring, it is a huge black box. GB 2.0 seem less in charge than GB 1.0. At a circuit assembly, I remember Splane saying that Watchtower won't pick him up for the airport if he is not dressed in a suit.

I never got this one....a Brother or sister CAN NOT do electrical work, plumbing work or construction, etc. on a Church. They are not supposed to even enter a church for a function but the WBTS will sell a Kingdom Hall to a church. WTF?

People should learn more about the Bible flaws
by opusdei1972 ini have noted that the main problem for those who are seduced by the watchtower society is their ignorance about the bible itself.
people who believe that the bible is the word of god usually ignore the studies on textual criticism and how scientific criteria forbid absurd stories like that of the global flood.
so, i strongly believe that students in schools need at least an obligatory course on "the bible" through the point of view of science and the textual criticism.

"how-to-think-with-your-brain" lessons for later in life, like the university system. Primary education for youths today is more of telling people WHAT to learn instead of teaching them HOW to learn.
And people need to stop listening to Fundamentalist Christians and JWs about archeology backing up the Bible.
So basically, JW and Fundamentalist are like children who think they can teach.

That's funny. How many times did elders reveal confidential information to their wives, children, friends, and even non-jws. I can't even count them. I'm still hearing to this day from elders who the latest sister is that had a threesome, the latest brother who hired a prostitute, the latest wife who was caught on the website, "Do you want to have an Affair" And I've been inactive for almost 2 years---LOL!
We are adults and should know by now that if we want to keep something secret, then don't tell anyone. If we reveal to someone something that we don't want known and it later comes out one way or another, then we only have only ourselves to blame. It's human nature to share things with others.
If you don't want others to know, take it to the grave.

) there is a lady who attends every meeting , minus the field service just like a regular dub.
it just seems odd she has not taken the dip yet.

What happened to the six month rule about if they don't progress that the study should be stopped, this was back in the early 80'sThat depends on the publisher, A bible study who gives you cookies and milk and you can avoid door the door in the heat , cold, rain, or snow, why would you even tell the elders you've been studying with this person for 20 years!
